CONFLICT
RESOLUTION
Given the
varied perspectives and backgrounds of co-workers, it’s not unusual
for conflict to develop. Diverse opinions present a global view and
drive the organization forward. However, if colleagues lack the awareness
required to communicate directly and authentically without tension and
anger, conflict can cease to be constructive.
The Conflict
Resolution Process includes individual meetings with a consultant to
assess each person’s communication style, define the issue at
the root of the conflict and identify agreements that need to be reached.
Following these individual sessions, co-workers meet together with the
consultant to co-create a plan of action that includes methods, tools
and techniques for communicating more effectively and working more productively
toward successful resolution of non-productive conflict. This process
is designed to enhance working relationships and increase morale.
